An superior alternative to the CWGC search engine

Instead of using the Commonwealth War Graves Commission search engine to locate fallen casualties why not use this one -

This search engine invented by a mate (Geoff Sullivan) is vastly superior to the CWGC effort. If you don't believe me then use it and find out yourself.

Whilst transcribing the Kent war memorials for this website, I have tried to add as 'Lost men' (and women & children) those casualties who for various reasons are not included on the war memorials. Since Neil told me about Geoff's Search engine, locating those missing from the memorials has become far, far less time consuming, and has resulted in many casualties being found which would have been virtually impossible to find. Without a doubt however, the biggest asset whilst researching and using Geoff's Search engine, is when attempting to trace WW2 casualties. With the stark difference in the amount of available data sources for use when researching (British) casualties of both world wars, Geoff's Search engine is surely the biggest asset of its type for many years. Like Chris and many other like minded researchers, I too recommend Geoff's Search engine, and would also like to record my thanks here.
Dave Hughes.

Yes, I've used it too, and it's tracked down some elusive casualties for me, and also helped solve some tricky mysteries. A huge bonus is being able to search on the service number.

Love it!
